*PLEASE NOTE:
Changing rooms - Like last year, we'll be keeping the changing rooms CLOSED as much as possible to reduce the workload for our volunteers & encourage our younger swimmers not to hang around in the block after their swims. It's quicker for everyone if we try not to use them wherever possible! The disabled access bathroom will be open for adults needing the loo whilst poolside. The toilets in one of the changing rooms will be open for children. The keys are kept at the desk. Swimmers are welcome to change poolside or return home in their swimming gear. Any swimmers with particular needs (e.g. our most senior members) are welcome to use the changing rooms if it makes things easier - that's no problem so please don't be shy if you find you need to use them (just ask one of our poolside volunteers who can help you).
Cancellations: It is sometime necessary for us to cancel sessions where we do not have sufficient volunteers to safety open the pool, or when water quality cannot be maintained. You can help us keep the pool open by showering before you come to the pool, limiting sunscreen when possible while maintaining safety and by joining our team of volunteers.
